I took the original picture and touch it up...a lot, I made more of the colors more vibrant and zoomed in on the picture. This is a picture I took at the Quay on one of our many visits around the area of New Westminster. I think this was one of my favorite photos of the entire 30 photos I took this photography class. If you have any positive feedback, please leave it in the comments! Bai!!

I was out taking photos in a community garden and saw this really big black bee, so i thought to myself, “I should take a picture of that big black bee…” So I did. Then I edited it a bit to make it more vibrant and have the colors really pop out, I think I like the edited picture better because it have more color and is really “out there” instead of a big shadowy bee. With the edited you get to see the bees eye a bit more than the unedited. Overall, I really love the edited photo…
till next time! For my first photo I took a picture of a wasp, I thought it was really cool to see something so terrifying, in such a peaceful state…I loved it a lot. With the bright yellow on the wasp against the bright green leaf, you could see all the detail on the wasp, and I like how the wasp is centered in the picture. the more i look at that picture the more I actually start to like wasps. But then it flew in my direction, and I had a mini heart attack… it was terrifying. And my second picture is my friend Frances, she was facing the opposite way, and I had an idea. I told her to turn around and be FABULOUS!! Then she turned and I snapped the picture, and this was the outcome. A beautiful shot of her hair in motion, And with the sunlight in the background hitting the leaves, Frances really stood out. Plus just look at it, she is a really good model.
Today in photography class we had to take photos while we played with the White Balance, we had to take six overall, three inside and three outside, and we had to take all the pictures of a white object. So I took one of my teachers old toy phone and shot some pictures of it. As you can see I think they turned out well, I think anyways….but that is all, and hopefully I will do more cool projects like this in the future, but now for now, SO LONG
:D While I was out and about taking photos I saw this lonely flower and thought i would take a picture of it with the background blurred out, so i laid flat on the ground on the sidewalk and i snapped a few photos of this flower, I don’t know why but I really like this photo, it has to be one of my favorite pictures I took that day. And I plan to take more.
:) Any comments? Today I took some pictures of some buildings, and some flowers with a high and a low EV (Exposure Value) some of the pictures were really bright, and some of them were really dark. I think its a really cool way to play around with the camera, its interesting to see what a camera can do. I learned that a darker EV is good to use on a sunny day, or in a bright room, and that a lighter EV is good to use on a darker day, or in a dark room. I found it fun to go out at take picture of dark and light places and tamper with them. I found that i like to shoot in a light environment and make it darker rather than shoot in a dark environment and make it lighter, i really enjoyed this project and i hope to do something like this again someday. This is the Dark EV This is the Light EV
I chose to take photography because, my mom takes photos for fun and sometimes for money, and i thought her photos looked so cool that i wanted to try it out too, so the fist chance i got to do photography, I did. Now that I’m in photography I don’t regret a thing. Now I wonder what this class has in store.
